Positive reply

A human answer that moves the conversation forward: a question, a meeting request, or a referral to the right person.

A positive reply is a response from a person that opens a door. It may be an explicit yes (“let’s talk on Thursday”), a question about what you sent, a request for more information, or a redirection to a colleague who owns the topic. What it is not: an out-of-office notice, a polite refusal, or “remove me”. The reader has shown interest and expects a next step from you.

It matters because it is the metric that actually tracks progress. Reply rate counts everything, including refusals and autoreplies, so a campaign can score well while producing nothing. Positive replies per company contacted is a figure a two-person team can act on: it tells you whether the list, the message and the timing are working together, and it is the only figure worth comparing between variants. Positive replies also need a fast human response; a warm answer that waits for days cools quickly.

In Seegnals replies are classified automatically, and Interested is the class for positive answers. The campaign stats show an Interested tile; clicking it opens the prospects who answered that way. Each positive reply raises the temperature of the company it came from, and the inbox shows the company context beside the thread.
